Summer Hockey Academy

Dates: Mid June Thru Late August

The Ice Land USA Summer Hockey Academy is being run in partnership with Top Shelf Hockey.  The camp is designed to work on all aspects of the game with a particular focus on:
 

· Powerskating – improve speed, acceleration, power and agility
· Scoring and Stickhandling – learn to dangle with the puck and fire it like a pro
· Pond Hockey – make quick, smart decisions under pressure and develop “hockey sense”
 

Dates: 
Afternoons from Jun. 15 – Aug. 20, 2009
 

Locations:
Serpentini Arena – Lakewood
Tuesdays - Powerskating
Saturdays - Scoring & Stickhandling

Hoover Arena – Strongsville
Mondays through Thursdays
Powerskating, Scoring & Stickhandling, and Pond Hockey
 

Ages:
The Summer Hockey Academy is targeted at players 6 to 17 years of age.  Players will be organized by age and ability.
 

Instructors:
Our instructors have decades of combined coaching experience.  The sessions primarily will be led by John Duke, Mike Bell and Kelly Lynch. John and Mike have extensive playing and coaching background. Kelly is a certified power skating instructor.
 

Cost:
Several packages are available to suit your schedule and budget.  Packages start at $75 for 5 sessions and range up to $225 for 25 sessions.  Goalies are half price.
